General Provisions

Warranty Terms

We guarantee that our products are free from material and manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover damage caused by:

  1. Normal wear and tear:
    • Wear resulting from use and natural wear and tear of components.
  2. Improper handling and misuse:
    • Failure to observe the operating instructions or safety precautions.
    • Incorrect assembly, installation, or commissioning.
    • Misuse as well as external application of force (e.g. impact, collision, dropping).
  3. External influences and force majeure:
    • Extreme environmental conditions (e.g. moisture, heat, dust, overvoltage).
    • Events of force majeure or other unforeseeable external influences.
  4. Intervention by third parties or the customer:
    • Unauthorised technical modifications, alterations or self-performed repairs.
    • Improper maintenance or repair carried out by third parties not certified by the manufacturer.

In the event of a warranty claim, we shall, at our discretion, either repair the product or replace it with an equivalent SCHELLENBERG product. The warranty period shall not be extended as a result of the replacement or repair of the product. A valid proof of purchase must be provided in order to make a warranty claim. When returning the product, please enclose a copy of the proof of purchase together with a description of the defect that has occurred.

The warranty period for your purchased Schellenberg product begins on the date of purchase.

Note:

This manufacturer's warranty does not affect any statutory warranty rights to which you, as a consumer, may be entitled against the seller under applicable law, including any special consumer protection provisions. This warranty neither excludes nor limits your statutory rights.
